What a Perfect Night

I was a high school girl living in a small town of America. The child of my neighbor was a young boy who studied in the same senior high school as mine. For quite a long time, we waited together before our houses for the coming of the school bus. But then things totally changed from the day a rich girl hooked up with him.

Every morning, while I was still sitting on the bench waiting for the school bus, that girl would come with her own car and took him away. My heart was broken at that moment every time. I had crush on him since we were both kids. He was probably the most handsome guy in the whole town and every girl once envied me for living next to him. Every night, I secretly watched him in the window. Our room windows were so close that some times, we even talked in our rooms. And now we still did. It’s just we both became more careful with our words merely because he already had a girlfriend.

But I always believed that he belonged with me. That girl wasn’t really his type. She never cared about his hobbies and some personal affairs. The only reason she wanted to be with him was that she must feel flattered being with the most handsome boy. And he was just attracted by her appearance by now. I then made up my mind that I had to save him and I believed that he also had a feeling for me. It’s just either of us had the courage to say it out first.

In a short time, there was a party held in our school. And I then I realized that it was the perfect opportunity. For such a long time, I seldom cared about my appearance. But actually I was also quite beautiful. My beauty was always covered by some plain clothes and ugg style shoes. I agreed. 3 days later, I went to fetch the photo and related gifts from the store. When I left, Jim just came with her new girl. From his face, I could see how astonishing he was. Now, he may realize what a lost for him to leave me, the spirit of high heels.

Were My Snow Boots Genuine or Fake?

In the very beginning of this winter, rumor went forth that the winter of this year would be the coldest one. As time goes on, this rumor has been gradually confirmed, despite of many suspicions and disbelievers. Although I have expected beautiful snow sceneries and funny snow fighting for years, I actually hate cold winter. Thus I was one of those who fully prepared this freezing winter in advance and whenever I can.
My boyfriend Tony always knows exactly what I think and want, and in October, he promised to send me a pair of UGG snow boots as the Christmas gift. I was very happy to receive this gift, for I had been planning to get a pair of UGG snow boots for a long time. But it was a little bit expensive for me and my boyfriend, for we were still college students, and most our money came from our parents.
On the charismas eve, when children received gifts from Santa, I was given a pair of UGG snow boots from my dear Tony. These UGG snow boots were made of sheepskin, colored in dark coffee, with the simple but classical style. I usually preferred the simple one, for it should be suitable for all kinds of clothes. I was satisfied with these new ugg, and appreciated very much the efforts Tony had made.
The UGG snow boots were so real until I found that it was possible for them to be fake. There was an essay telling how to distinguish the genuine sheepskin UGG snow boots from the fakes, which I encountered online by chance. According to the essay, in genuine UGG snow boots, boast of good amount sheepskin fur was in the boot itself. But in fake UGG less fur was found. In my UGG, the “sheepskin” fur was little. When compared with the genuine UGG, it was not so warm.
Obviously, my UGG snow boots were somewhat fakes. I went to Tony and asked for the truth, and he finally confessed to me. Tony had saved up money for my genuine UGG for a month, but the money was stolen on the right day when he brought about it to buy the snow boots in a shopping mall. He knew how much I wanted the boots, thus he got me a delicate Knockoff online and dared not tell me the truth.
In fact, I was not disappointed at all. A considerate boyfriend was much important than a genuine pair of UGG snow boots, and a fake one was also capable of keeping warm. For the coming Valentine’s Day, I may as well send Tony something special.
